Both TEG and the Trust Capacity Fund (TCaF) have been devised to facilitate the expansion of trusts. TEG achieves this by offering initial funding for projects in their early stages, while TCaF comes into play once growth projects receive approval (please refer to the TCaF guidance for a detailed explanation of these projects). As an illustration, a trust may successfully apply for TEG funding to assist in the establishment of a hub in an EIA. Once the project obtains approval from the regional director, it becomes eligible for TCaF funding for the period of 2023-2025.
